The plan

Organise a lightning low-key meeting somewhere in may/june (provided we're not slacking off too much).

We wait for the forecasts to favor us (this has happened, the "summer" switch has been engaged), and then plan a meeting in some meadow.

During this meeting we shall indulge ourselves in endless so called "lamballen".

Gear to bring yourself

Don't bring too much, but consider the following:

  • laptop
  • beanbag / something else to sit on
  • foodstuffs
  • sleeping bag (depending on plans for staying overnight)

Costs

None for now. Any costs due for the location itself and power / BBQ and the like will be split across participants at the end of the event.

Tents

Yes, Bad_Boeli has a supply of UK Army tents (half-round cylinders) setting these up takes about half an hour a piece. They can easily hold ~10 people when needed.

Bringing these tents requires either Bad_Boeli's truck, or a small trailer, (which we'd need to borrow/rent), Since the truck's a vintage piece, taking it for more than 100km from its point or origin (Middenmeer) might be a bad idea.

Sleeping

The idea is not to stay for the night at whatever location we'll end up. However, if the need for staying overnight arises, there's ample area in the tents to sleep. No need to bring your own tents, just a sleeping bag. Saves us all a whole lot of time and hassle for a "flash" event :)

Family-friendly

Yes, partners (and kids) are invited

Location

Giev possible options plx

No clue if BBQ's & stuff are allowed at those locations though. :(
