Yes! This year we are going to organise your favourite event again and we need your help! Would you like to
join the organisation? Send an email to bestuur[@]eth0.nl including who you are and what your
skills are.
Eth0:2014 Summer is an outdoor high-tech geek conference planned for this summer. It aims toward sharing knowledge on tech/IT related fields including security, networks, programming, privacy, new (open) technologies, ethics and hacking. At daylight there are could be talks on these subjects, but when the sun goes down its definitely time to pick up the slack. There will be enough to do, a fully equipped lounge (with bar) and an overload of hackerspace activity. Maybe someone brings along lasers and there is room to party. Enough reason to pick up the slack and go to Eth0?
The event starts at the 6th of august and will last for a full five days.

Basic info

Day tickets
For those of you who unfortunately aren't able to come the whole week we created the possibility to buy day tickets. There is a 1-day ticket that costs 25 euro and doesn't include the possibility to sleep, and a weekend ticket that costs 60 euro.
Staying longer than 24 hours
If you're staying more than one day, a camping spot is included in the ticketprice.
If you prefer more luxury, there's also the option of a hotel or b&b nearby.
We will provide a cosy environment and the logical camp side stuff (toilets showers, electricity, wifi). We do advise to at least bring:
- Sleeping gear (tent, sleeping bag, mattress, pillow)
- Toiletries, good shoes, clothing for warm weather, cold weather and, of course, your bathing suit (De groene ster is an excellent swimming area. Water quality check.)
- Anti mosquito stuff, because water + grass = bugs
- Sunscreen
- Stuff to make/buy food
- Tools
- flashlite
- hackerspassport if you got one
- Your ticket
Forgot something? Frack made a list of useful shops nearby.
Don't forget, as we're in Friesland, most shops will be closed at Sundays (some supermarkets will be open till 17:00 or 18:00). Late night shopping (after 18:00) in Leeuwarden is at Thursdays
Food & Drinks
We'll provide a small bar, including lots of mate and some snacks. But, deciding what's for dinner is up to you! It's allowed to bring small camping cooking stoves, and -small- bbq's. Open fire is not allowed, as we're close to trees and we'd like to keep them.
