Saturday
14:00 - 15:00: Sewing electronics part 1, by Will-Do
Working with the Lilypad, LEDs and conductive thread, we've going to sew electronics on an item clothing or a pillow cover. I'll supply the technical bits and can supply pillow covers. However, if you want to sew on a piece of clothing, I'll advise you to bring your own as I don't know everybody's sizes.
In part one we're going to set out our plan, make a technical schematic and I'll explain the basics of sewing. (See Sunday for part two).
You don't need any previous sewing or Lilypad/arduino/electronical knowledge to follow this workshop and during Eth0 you can use my stuff as much as you want. If you want to keep the provided Lilypads and LEDs afterwards, I'm asking 10e for all supplies used. The workshop will be for everybody age 10 and up.

15:00 - 15:30: Bikes That Fit, by Amran
Bikes That Fit - a quick talk about how I came up with an automated way of designing and building clunky bike frames because I'm so big no one bothered to make one in my size. This translates into cheaply and quickly making clunky custom bike frames for everyone.
Sunday
9:00 - 12:00: Climbing in Mountain Network Heerenveen
There's a couple of Eth0people climbing every week, will you join us? No special equipment or experience necessary, we can make sure you stay safe and teach you the basics. It's useful if you bring a long sportspants and a sportshirt.
13:00 - 14:00: Using mobile phone gyro's + compass to diagnose back and neck problems, by Failbaitr
In this talk I will explain how we use a web technology and a VR headset to diagnose health problems in patients with neck and back problems. Our road to a working proof of concept, the issues we encountered and the way forward.
14:00 - 15:00: Sewing electronics part 2, by Will-Do
Working with the Lilypad, LEDs and conductive thread, we've going to sew electronics on an item clothing or a pillow cover. I'll supply the technical bits and can supply pillow covers. However, if you want to sew on a piece of clothing, I'll advise you to bring your own as I don't know everybody's sizes.
In part two we're going to combine the sewn schematic with the Lilypad, program the Lilypad and see if stuff works! (See Saturday for part 1).
I'll advise you to also follow the first part of the workshop, but next to that you don't need any previous sewing or Lilypad/arduino/electronical knowledge to follow this workshop and during Eth0 you can use my stuff as much as you want. If you want to keep the provided Lilypads and LEDs afterwards, I'm asking 10e for all supplies used. The workshop will be for everybody age 10 and up.
