=Field layout=
Main field will be devided in to 5 parts.
4 fields for the 'villages' 1 field for the main presentation and sub presentaions.
The Presentation field will be located centraly.
The 4 villages will be lacated of center to the sides of the field.
There will be a road put in to the field made from driving plates. And shaped into a U form.
Trafic will be one way. So no traffic will be facing each other.
No camping location will be further than 25 meters from the road.

==Fire place==
On the field a location for a fire place is layed down. Here a camp fire will be started by the crew.
No open fires are allowed to be stared on the camping ground or out side of it.
At the fire place fire exstinguisers will be placed when a fire is started. We are also attempting to get a fire truck / dolly loacted at the camping ground.

==Toilets and Showers==
The plan is to put a shower unit and a toilet unit just out side of the camping ground.
On the fare side of the field next to the gate and parking lot to put a toilet cross.
Probebly there will be a containing bag to collect waste water.

=Parking=
Parking will can be done on the field to the north of the camping area and will be closed of bij a fence.
Here also road plates will be used to minimise the damage to the field.
Parking outside of the parking lot will not be permitted.
To minimise car movement and risk of injury the camping ground is off limmits for cars during the event.
Only exceptions will be arrival / depature and maybe medical releated reosons.

==Infrastructure==
A central backbone of infrascruckture will be layed out though the field using ground and air.
This means damage prown cables will be routed though the air using supports (climing towers or other supports).
Other cables like power will be layed on the ground.
There where the cables pass the road they will be protected by road support blocks.

In the (hopefully nearby) future, you will be able to find more information on the servers we will have at ETH0. In the meantime feel free to contact [[user:Chakotay|Chakotay]] when you have any questions.

=Main infrastructure=
The following infrastructure will be provided by the organisation:
* DNS / DHCP
* OpenVPN (For wireless clients)
* FTP/NFS/HTTP/SMB providing the most important software mirrors and updates
* IRC services
* Shell server
* Streaming Audio/Video servers

=Network design=
There will be a flat network with a single uplink. Nothing is known yet about the availability of public ip space. Depending on the availability of the hardware, the topology will either be ring or star based. In both situations, multiple distribution switches will be available on the fields.

=Getting uplink=
When you've setup all your gear, lay a cable to one of the distribution points. Noc engineers will periodically scan all the distribution points to connect all the cable's there. Under no circumstances it's permitted that you connect your own cable yourself!

=IDPS monitoring=
To prevent abuse of the network and it's uplink, several IDS sensors will be placed on the network, together with IPS software. These sensors will detect and respond to the following scenario's:

=Malware distribution=
If your system is malware infected or is active part of a botnet, your switchport will be configured to be part of the quarantine network. In this network, the only connectivity you'll have is with the FTP server provided with the organisation. You will notice you are in this vlan by checking your webbrowser. If it displays the quarantine page, follow the onscreen instructions or contact noc@

=Hacking=
No hacking of other systems is allowed on this event. If you're caught you'll be subjected to the dutch laws and we'll be glad to hand you over to local authorities. If you're still unwise enough to hack other systems, please be aware that we have prepared a special vlan, just for you kiddies :)

Gaat zowel over deze page als het prijsstukje op de website: Ik vind het een beetje krom dat er een prijsindicatie van € 200,- staat, met direct daar achteraan "we ''will'' make"/"price ''will be'' below" ... Als de prijs gegarandeerd lager dan € 200,- wordt, wat voor nut heeft die prijsindicatie dan? 200 euro's is just way to expensive for 7 days..

People won't come if you are asking these kinds of fee's

Campzone is 310 euro's for 11 days.. And they have been running this party for years now, so they have a good reputation with their visitors.. This is a totally new event.

Ofcourse I'm well aware of the fact that these parties aren't cheap, but where did the times go when we paid 150 hfl for a party ;) (Oh wan99 the fond memories) :)

I couln't find the text that says: "The price '''is''' 200 euro". The only thing i read is that the price is '''below''' 200 for the most expensive ticket, wich means (for as far i can understand English) the ticket won't be 200 euro's, but less.

Furthermore "most expensive ticket" implicates there are tickes that will cost only a certain percentage of the most expensive ticket (wich will be below 200, as said before). Dunno what tickets that will be though, but that wil show in time.

If my math is correct, 310 euro's for 11 days is about 197 euro's for 7 days, so this event will be cheaper than CZ :D [[User:Langhaar|Langhaar]] 19:20, 17 januari 2008 (CET)
